Why this exists
The designer job market shifts faster than the discourse about it. Titles emerge, skills get absorbed into baseline expectations, and salary bands move — but most of what gets written about it is anecdote. Design Drift tracks the actual listings: what companies are hiring for, what they're asking designers to do, and what they're willing to pay. Every number on this site links back to the underlying corpus, and the methodology — including its limitations — is published in full.
